Envoy

Envoy is an open-source edge and service proxy designed for cloud-native applications. Akto-Envoy setup is recommended if your APIs are routed by Envoy.

You can deploy Akto in your cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and do the Envoy integration to collect API traffic for API inventory and testing.

You can attach Akto traffic collector filter to your Envoy setup for API traffic. This filter will collect your API traffic and send to Akto dashboard. It has minimal performance impact and it only takes 5-10 minutes. Once you set this up, Akto will process traffic to create an API Inventory in real time. You can deploy in the environment of your choice.
