TCP Agent

Akto has its own TCP agent which collects raw traffic and sends to Akto dashboard. This setup is recommended only if other setups for AWS or GCP don't work.

You can run Akto TCP agent in your cloud ( AWS, GCP, Azure) to collect traffic.

You can run Akto traffic collector as an independent docker container on your application servers. This container will collect your API traffic and send to Akto dashboard. Note that this container doesn't sit inline and simply observes your node traffic. It has minimal performance impact and it only takes 5-10 minutes. Once you set this up, Akto will process traffic to create an API Inventory in real time. You can deploy in the environment of your choice.
