API Security Workshop with OWASP Juice Shop | Akto

Step into the world of API security with Akto’s interactive, two-hour hands-on workshop at the OWASP meetup.

This workshop is designed for application security (AppSec) professionals who want to strengthen their API security skills and learn how to write and automate business logic tests using Akto.

During the session, participants will create and execute 10 business logic tests against OWASP Juice Shop and other vulnerable applications. The workshop will focus on identifying authentication, authorization, and access control vulnerabilities through custom API security testing.

Through practical exercises and expert guidance, attendees will learn the fundamentals of writing, automating, and executing custom security tests. By the end of the workshop, participants will have hands-on experience creating 10 business logic tests that can help identify common API security issues.

Hands-On Practice with Real-World Scenarios

Participants can work on their own APIs and receive guidance on developing custom security tests during the workshop. For those without a project to test, we will use OWASP Juice Shop and other vulnerable applications for demonstrations and hands-on exercises.
