Akto Partners With SentinelOne To Secure AI Agent Interactions At Endpoints
Akto partners with SentinelOne to discover and govern AI agents, MCPs, and GenAI applications running on managed endpoints, giving security teams full visibility and runtime guardrail enforcement over employee AI usage.

We're excited to announce that Akto now partners with SentinelOne, bringing together the leading AI-powered endpoint security platform with Akto's purpose-built agentic AI security platform.
Employees are adopting AI agents faster than security teams can track them. Across every department, people are installing MCP servers, connecting agent skills, and spinning up AI-powered workflows on their work devices. Most of this happens without the security team’s knowledge or approval.
That creates a set of urgent questions for every CISO:
Which AI agents are running on our managed endpoints?
What MCP servers and agent skills have employees installed?
Which of those agents can access sensitive company data?
Do we have guardrails in place before something goes wrong?
If an incident happens, is there an audit trail?
These are not edge cases. For any organization with SentinelOne-managed endpoints, they are the new baseline for employee AI governance.
That's where the Akto + SentinelOne partnership comes in.
Bringing Together Endpoint Security and Agentic AI Governance
SentinelOne is the leader in AI security, trusted by nearly one-fifth of the Fortune 500 and hundreds of Global 2000 enterprises. Its Singularity Platform delivers unified, AI-powered protection across endpoints, identity, cloud, and AI, stopping threats at machine speed with autonomous detection and response.
Akto is the security platform for AI agents, MCPs, and LLMs used by enterprise teams. Akto provides visibility, risk assessments, and enforces guardrails to block prompt injection, jailbreaks, data exposure, and any malicious action. The platform gives controls to security and engineering teams over AI agents.
Together, Akto and SentinelOne are helping teams bridge the gap between endpoint protection and governing the AI running on it.
How Akto Integrates with SentinelOne
Telemetry Ingestion and AI Asset Discovery

Akto uses SentinelOne's existing telemetry to identify which AI agents, MCP servers, and GenAI applications are active across employee endpoints. Akto analyzes the actual process-level and network-level data SentinelOne captures to surface AI activity that would otherwise remain invisible to security teams.

Akto also inspects event services logs to understand AI activity initiated through the terminal. This is important because many of today's AI agents, MCP servers, and developer-facing AI tools are launched from the command line rather than through traditional desktop applications. Without parsing event services logs, terminal-initiated AI usage would remain a blind spot even on a fully managed endpoint.
In practice, Akto continuously discovers:
AI agents installed and running on employee devices, whether launched through a GUI or the terminal
MCP servers running locally or connected remotely from managed endpoints
Agent skills and plugins that extend agent capabilities and grant permissions
GenAI applications interacting with external models or internal systems
Akto then assigns each discovered agentic asset a risk score based on its permissions, data access patterns, and potential exposure. Instead of treating every AI agent the same, teams get a risk-ranked view of their entire agentic footprint across managed endpoints.
Enforcing Guardrails at Runtime
Discovery and risk scoring give teams visibility. But visibility alone doesn't stop an agent from leaking sensitive data or executing an unsafe action. That's where runtime enforcement comes in.

Teams connect SentinelOne to Akto and choose the specific targets, endpoints, groups, or sites, where they want to enforce Akto Guardrails. This target selection gives security teams granular control over where enforcement is active, whether that's a specific group of high-risk endpoints, a particular department, or the entire managed environment.
Once targets are selected, teams define the guardrails they want to enforce on their agentic assets. Akto enforces them in runtime, logging everything.

That enforcement can include:
Prompt injection and jailbreak protection to block adversarial inputs before they reach the model
Sensitive data protection to prevent PII, credentials, or confidential data from leaking through agent interactions
Denied topics and restricted actions to enforce which use cases agents are and are not allowed to handle
Custom policy enforcement based on organizational requirements, compliance mandates, or business-specific rules
Every guardrail action is logged. Every policy decision is recorded. Security teams get a complete audit trail of what agents did, what was allowed, and what was blocked, across every endpoint where enforcement is active.
Why This Matters: The Endpoint Is the New AI Attack Surface
Most security programs today focus on securing AI that the organization builds and deploys intentionally. But an equally critical problem is growing underneath: AI that employees bring onto managed endpoints on their own.
SentinelOne already captures the telemetry. Akto adds the guardrails needed to govern what's running. Together, they close the gap between endpoint security and agentic AI governance, giving teams a unified approach to a problem that has been growing in every enterprise.
SentinelOne protects the endpoint. Akto secures the AI running on it.
